‍Flat as in the long flat start, and the puncture Tom got. Ups as in all ups we climbed! We knew today would be tough as we had 15km left from yesterday and a good day of climbing. Up early and after food, bakery and coffee stops, we were flying along the north west coast with a stonkin’ tailwind. Right turn away from the coast and we were immediately climbing, and had to settle in for the day. 20km climbing, with a 10km and 5km to come. Wasn’t long before we were on gravel roads winding through the forest. From the right turn onwards, I reckon we saw 2 cars until our lodging for tonight. We had dodged the rain until lunch, but as the rain fell, so did the temperatures. A chilly late afternoon but all good down to home for the night. Day 2 ✅
