Just when I was thinking to myself that I must be more fit than I was at CIM because 5:40 pace, even without super shoes, feels way easier than marathon effort, the adductor suddenly started to strain. It had been feeling fine since the last time that happened a couple days ago, but it's clear that I need to take a few days of cross-training to let this thing really clear up. On the bright side, it is a good time for it, since there is still plenty of time to get this thing back on track. And I still got almost 22 miles on the day with 9.72 around marathon effort.
