Was a pretty easy pace in the end, probably appropriate for a Saturday afternoon and definitely preferable to doing intervals into a gale like this time last year. Suspect distance recording so it may or may not have been closer to 9 km 🤷 

In any case, the vibes were right, complemented with Arran Goddard 's chat, heart rate tracking (of course, I would never) and sense of direction. Felt good to do it after hard skipping a potential ride yesterday, so we carry on. Less good: big time chafe to the point of bleeding. Better do something about the thunder thighs (that really are not that large).
