Happy to be out there racing a bit. Been prepping for a while and wanted to put a decent effort out there. I did a pretty bad job packing up and spent a lot of my morning alone in the wind. Fell apart a bit at the end and need to practice the mental portions of the race but grateful for a hard effort 

Finished with some time to go so added the 1.1k at the end to see if I could sneak under 90 min for the half (I did) 

Bummed to not be in Houston but with my foot on the fritz it didn’t make any sense. This was the 2nd best option
