Another visit to Lake Valhalla, this time with Laura and Reagan. Last year visibility was minimal and snow was decent, this year snow was terrible, but views with the sun and clouds were great (and I actually remembered my camera)
We probably could have found better snow if we had more time/decided to hit up NE faces, but we had to fight through the Stevens traffic (somewhat expected) and with the skinner up to McCausland, it seemed like the natural progression. Chonky ice bombs in the trees and then a breakable crust on S/W slopes with thick snow underneath; snow with any slight northern aspect
