Alpine Ski with Fiona. Her 5th time ever, my 12th time on skis this winter

Firy and I alpine skiing (his 10th time). Short late evening ski.

Warm weather made for more challenging conditions than expected, such as hard crusty grooves and icy patches. It was Firy’s most challenging day, though he did well. 1 hour total ski time but just 6 runs. I was letting him have more freedom and testing the tie in positions. He fell a few times and generally laughed a lot, though he was tired at the end because he usually is settling down for the evening and not out skiing. His favourite part was watching and commenting on all the airplanes flying over. He loves planes.
