C Grade, mid pack finish

Tough one!  I feel like I perform better at morning races than evening; I’m almost falling asleep an hour before 😆.

Made a mistake early: there was an early break and I had a nice slingshot so I decided to use it to bridge, but the peloton was charging so I sat up.  But I didn’t accelerate enough to join mid pack so I got stuck on the back.  I wasn’t in great drafting positions in the mid race so I think I was also using too much energy.  In the finish I felt ok but due to the flow I got stuck on the outside and got boxed out; I need to be on the inside of the hill on 2 laps to go so I can leverage that all the way.
