Tuesday Core Exercise

Fasted. 56.0 pound ruck. Street clothes, road shoes.

Mom got out the door a little quicker than she been getting out recently. She also walked farther between stops than recently and consequently, when we got to Albieville on our way back east, the sun wasn't yet at street level. We could see Albie in the ocotillo, so we sat a little while, then gave up and went back home.

After letting mom rest and taking her vitals, she made and ate her breakfast and then both of us went back to feed Albie. By then the temperature had warmed from 25F to 34F and the sun had been out a while. Albie was quite receptive to eating. Initially he came toward us even when we were still tens of yards away, but a vehicle startled him, so he chose to sun himself on a fence for a little while, but rapidly got off once he saw me bring out my phone. He knows the drill.

After coming back home, I kept my pack on until it had been on for three hours.

Whee!
