Hawley was 🔥💥🔥. A++… Me? F-.  I faffed around all afternoon and then resigned myself to doing a 2-3hr night ride… so rushed up and started riding…As the daylight faded, and I went to find my lights before hitting Periwinkle, lo and behold my helmet light , wallet/key and water bottle weren’t on the bike/in pack so I back tracked hoping to find them. Where did I find them??? On top of my car. Hell of a reintro to solo-winter night riding.
