For years I thought this was a road hike but it was old railroad bed instead which made for some flat and soft hiking for the legs and feet. This terrain felt much better afterwards than the eleven miles of asphalt last weekend. 
I’m stoked to be done with the urban hiking of this trail and be back in the woods! 
Our next section will be a 21 mile overnight stay!
