Notes: Snow covered gravel path forced me to slow down a lot. Also the lack of lugged tread on the R1s didn’t help. Probably for the best though. Had to have that 3 days off recovery stint last week. And had the awful stomach issues this week. So maybe I did need some down time before the super hard training kicks in. Those 70-80mi weeks were just the warm up so to speak! :) 

Fighting off passing out asleep typing this. Lmao. Long ass day. Got 2 more to do! CCR Warehouse sale day 2 was fun … day 3 of the sale tomorrow. Then I’ll be back at the warehouse one more time on Monday to help pack everything up. That’ll be my brief stint working at the warehouse… til whenever is next! Also been meeting a lot of amazing people and doing some Job networking stuff for myself. So I’m very happy about that. Things are going well. 

Still though … I am kinda grumpy these past 2 weeks of mileage have been kinda dumptrucks but maybe it’s all for the best! Thinking optimistic thoughts. 

These next 8-10 weeks before HAT50k and C&O C 100mi have the potential to be CRAZY high mileage and full of great workouts and gym days. So I’m staying patient and stoked for what’s to come. Simply just trying to train like a demon let loose. Crazed animal. Caged beast. Whatever analogy fits best. 

Bide my time. Stay patient. Stay strong. Stay positive. 

It’s gonna all work out. 

I’m stoked.
