With the slightly altered course that introduced a couple more rollers, it was more taxing on your legs. Extremely happy to have come out with an official timing of 03:59:34, squeezing in a sub 4 marathon for the first time. It was a sweet outcome given the injury troubles and limited training in the past few weeks. It's even more exciting to have happened in TMM, an event I love, participated over the years and for the 4th time this year.
This time around I took energy gels ay every 30 min and followed the 04:00 bus. Due to injury the pacer had to stop at 16k but the group was already armed with his pacing plan. A couple of awesome gentlemen from the pack took over and we continued with the run. We all called out to slow down or speed up when it was needed. A few of us made it to the final cut for the sub 4. 
Training partner Zoja came out with her own PB, that too on a bad day of running for her. Any other day, it would been a different story for her. 
Had the company of the awesome ITEN Runners Club members at the event who came out with several PBs and debuts on a  slightly difficult day of racing. Congratulations to our team ITEN Runners Club - Official .
