First day in Dubai🇦🇪

Starting the season with a 4th place among big WorldTour riders 🏁🔥
After a long winter ❄️ full of doubts, training in cold Belgium without a training camp…
Finishing a hard race like this in crosswinds 🌬️ not bad at all.

From almost crashing 😬 back to the third group, then riding through the echelons to rejoin the group of Mohorič 🚴‍♂️
Later attacking with 5 riders 💥 and giving everything to close the gap to the first two ❤️‍🔥

In the last 10 km, we rode away with five riders, fighting for the victory 🏆
I sprinted with a 54 chainring ⚙️
With a tailwind and a downhill sprint ⬇️💨, that’s where I lost the race, lesson learned.

Proud of this start. The work is showing.
