4:27.77, 5th place. The leaders went out slow (slow for them, anyway) so I was actually in the lead pack until 700. Then the top 3 dropped a 32-second lap to string it out. I was on my own the rest of the way. My last 400 was good but I probably should have tried to sit and kick on the guy in 4th.

Splits: 18.99, 36.29, 36.46, 36.59, 35.94, 35.86, 1:07.67 (for some reason Leone didn't record our splits at 1300).
