In todays lesson: trapdooring for miles due to poor terrain choice. north facing 6-8.5k elevation is a horror show of thin crusts over sage… south facing at those elevations is easy dry walking… also lots of hip deep bootpacking in pockets where the wind hasnt done its thing. Made for a big solo adventure on the 65 underfoot setup! Beautiful day though and some incredible alpine scenery
