I’ve Never Been to Paris

A few more morning corduroy laps at Val di Fassa before taking two busses over to San Pelegrino for lunch. Started out on the front side on Col Margherita on the super-G course which was really fun but was a little too skied off, shady, and crowded to go full throttle. Instead Dev and I hopped over to the backside towards Falcade to chase the sunshine and views which were somehow even more impressive than the last 3 days. Just never get tired of looking at these mountains 🏔️

After last chair we caught a quick ride over to Rifugio Flora Alpina and oh man did our guide save the best for last. Incredible views from every room but more importantly from the hot tub and the sauna. Is it too late to change our wedding venue? Seriously one of the most magical places I’ve ever stayed.

Watched a fox trotting through the field while we were spritzing and soaking and promptly forgot about him when we went to get our sweat on. Came back out to a missing croc and flip flop and thought someone was playing a joke. Satisfied that no one could keep their poker face after that many glasses of wine we went back out with headlamps after dinner and found some paw prints which we followed to a tree where we found the missing footwear, complete with tooth marks. Guess someone was playing with us, it just wasn’t who we suspected 🦊
