Oh boy!!! Body and legs felt pretty good, but I am lacking the edge. Difficulties maintaining peak power for a prolonged duration which I paid for several times. First time up the temple KOM I lost a gap of 10 seconds which I closed in a sprint after about 21 km. Only to get dropped again the second time up the KOM. The front group split into several groups and I ended up in the 3rd. Once I again I managed to close the gap to the group ahead and once again I paid the price up the KOM. Finished 40th which I can't really be satisfied with, but I am satisfied that I gave it what I had on the day.
