Lunch Walk

Nathan, Sean, Tom, and Jarret joined up with me for a -20 C feels like -32 snowshoe .  No wildlife sightings and only one person got their boots wet in the creek.  Quite a pleasant temperature with wool baselayer, alphatec insulating vest, hybrid wool long sleeve mid and a shell overtop.  Bottom layers just slightly not warm enough with polypropylene long johns and ski pants.  Probably add a wool set of long johns and it’s good.  Wool socks, 800g insulation Red Wing boots,   Toque, buff, gloves and two chemical hand warmers.  The wind was brisk but our selected route sheltered us well.
