Yup that's the distance they're saying it is. Belgium. 10th place.

Lots of work at the front. About 6-7k of it probably. In the end (final 500m) got completely outkicked by a guy that had been tailing me throughout and a guy with whom I was alternating the front work. We thanked each other for the work. Kudos to them both for keeping my head with it.

Legs felt heavy during the warmup and the strides. Weather went up, 19C and sunny. Not ready for this. Add week of bad sleep and you get a body that is not in the mood. Oh well. Not the race I envisioned, but I've clearly improved since doing this one end of 2016 so that is nice.
