ＪＲ富良野駅から南富良野町に向かい、さわやかな「かなやま湖」の湖畔沿いを走る全長約９０ｋｍのコースです。雄大な芦別岳を望みながら南下すると桜並木で有名な東大演習林があります。北海道らしい風景が目の前に広がり感動すること間違いなしです。さらに南下し、金山ダムが見えてくれば、コース最大の難所であるかなやま湖の急カーブです。その後は湖畔沿いをさわやかな風に癒されながら進み、道の駅「南ふらの」へ。その後はもう一つの難所三の山峠が待っています。終盤は「北の国から」のロケ地である麓郷を巡り、布礼別川沿いの麓郷街道を一気に下って富良野市街地へ戻ってきます。

It is a 90km course from JR Furano Stasion to Minamifurano town along refreshing Kanayama Lake. As you go south with the great view of Ashibetsu-dake, You well reach Todaiensyurin, which is very famous for cherry blossom. You would definitely be so impressed with the unique Hokkaido scenery. Keep moving south at a view of Kanayama Dam, you will hit the sharp curve of at tha Lake Kanayama, which is the hardest point of the course. After that is a nice ride along the lake with clear air healing you to the Minamifurano Roudside Souvenir Shop, another hard point at San-no-yama Pass, Throught the place known for movie “From the Northern Country” syooting site, then finally back to Furano city on an easy downhill along Furebetsu River.
