To the station and back on the road all the way.

The 71 bus direct from home to work. 

A ride on the bus because my sciatica is bad at the moment making cycling very uncomfortable. Before I got the bike I drove in quite a lot.  Then I had my license taken away because I had what they called ‘epileptic seizures’. Then I had a free bus pass because of being unable to drive. The bus journey was over an hour with a change, so if the first bus was a few minutes late I would miss the second and be half an hour late into work. For a punctual reliable man this was unacceptable, so I got the bike. I stopped cycling many years ago and had forgotten how good it makes you feel. But my local bus company now run a direct service so I tried it a couple of times. And from Cornwall with my ‘epileptic’ pass I don’t have to pay before 0930 like the pensioners do in Devon. So my journey both ways is free. While I am in a sciatica flare it has been a godsend. I am missing the bike but just can’t do it at the moment. I had to have six months off after a shoulder op and now this. Where will it all end?  Sorry but I needed to give my reason for putting this on here. I will privatise it later.
