Filmed in 2013 & part of the planned for Stage 2 of the 2020 Tour de France. This climb that starts on the eastern edge of the city of Nice has become a cycling legend due to use in the Paris Nice stage race.  Filmed in less ideal weather you will encounter some low coastal cloud as you close in on the top, it has a very different feel to the regular rides in the collection. The climb is steep early on has a little bit of a breather at about the halfway mark & then hits hard again before the false flat at the top of the coastal ridge that on sunny days would look down on the Mediterranean sea. 

Training Tip - Warm up well before starting as this climb starts directly with steep grades from the start.
