W02D04: Special activity.

Amanda Kautzer (her illustrious list of collegiate scholastic and athletic achievements are here: https://www.michigantechhuskies.com/sports/skiing/2019-20/bios/kautzer_amanda_b5ub?view=bio) organized a 5k Time Trial and set up the course. Any day I get to run with good humans is a good day and today was one such day.

Got off to a fast start and held the pace through the first two miles. Knowing the course profile helped manage resources well. Took one wrong turn (runner error; course was marked correctly) and came up 0.50 mile short. But backtracked the course to get the needed distance to make it a 5k. Good run.
