Somehow this day was almost 29 miles, which should have taken me up into the North Fork Valley. The CT section here is LONG and HOT. 

So so so fun for 90% of this day. Craig Park and the Ben Tyler saddle are incredible places. 

The bugs were absolutely ferocious on this whole trip. I have never seen more than a handful of mosquitos in LCW, but my god... My entire body and mind is one big bug bite. 

Maiden voyage of the tarp designed by me (with a design flaw, didn't ask for the edges hemmed), and sewed by Audrey Maydew! It works great except that my design flaw, no fault of Audrey at all, caused a tear.
