After taking an update, I get on my bike and 5 minutes down the road the Garmin shuts down. I turn it back on and resume the ride. I look down a minute later and it's off again. I had been playing with Garmin Connect at the beginning of the ride, so I figured maybe something there got the computer screwed up. I started the Garmin again ... this time noticing the battery % reading on the boot screen: 0%.

In my best Rosanna Rosanna Danna voice: "nevermind." 

Instead of starting my spin up with some chill thoughts, I got all spun up ... for no good reason. I took in my surroundings, rolling down 97A next to the Columbia River on my way to Navarre Coulee, where I'd be meeting Ralph, and immediately felt better.

A wonderful ride today. I'm really liking having this new Entiat launch site. Ralph, I think their slogan is right: Entiat _is_ the gateway to adventure :).
