Not fasted. I started my watch early and also didn't go directly to the finish line because the end of the course was (IMO) marked ambiguously. On top of that, I accidentally kept my watch running as I slowly made my way to where the beer garden was supposed to be. IOW, "the sun was in my eyes" and all the other cliche excuses.

My goal was to average a 130 bpm HR, because I have JJ100 in six days and I'd like to go sub-20. My average HR was 120, so I don't think this ride will interfere with those plans.

Oh, I looked at the course enough to know where the hills were, but I still stopped once to check Gaia to make sure I was still on the right course (I was). Otherwise, I stopped twice for calories. I botched my nutrition, but what else is new ...

Whee!
