Ain’t no rest for the wicked…

most technical trail I've run overall! Super gnarly route finding and bushwhacking in the tall grass/forest areas and then loose volcanic rock up top. Pretty hot and humid all the way with sun exposure on a beautiful day at the top of the Volcano (Haleakalā) at 10,000+. This route runs from the ocean beach to the top and back down again...sea level to highest point in Maui! Thanks to my crew support of Sandi and Stephen Gnoza 🙏 who made it possible. More media and report to come. But now it's time to celebrate that I'm feeling a bit more like my old self again and this is a good confidence boost for some gnarly mountain ultras I've been training for this year!
