So cool what you are doing! If you need some pointers about the parks in Utah, I am happy to help out!

Hi Doug. Thanks for the offer. I would love any and all help on the parks in Utah. I haven't been to any of them so they will all be new to me. It would be great if you could run with me in one of them. I'm hoping that people will run with me so if you know of any running clubs in the area I would love to get connected with them. I'm also looking for recommendations on inexpensive places to stay.
Have you seen my web site at www.runningtheparks.com? You can connect with me on social media there or you can send me email at runningtheparks@gmail.com.
Thanks for reaching out! Hope to run with you soon!

Nice run. Bill would you happen to know of any long trails through Badlands? I will be driving by the area in April and would love to explore the park. Thank you

Hi Jacob. Not many trails at Badlands and the ones they have aren't very long. The entire park is open for exploration but you really need to be experienced at navigating in the desert if you want to go off trail. When I was there I did 5.5 on trail and 7.5 on the road twice to get my marathon. I ran the Castle Trail and then the loop road. For me it was intimidating to go off trail. I think it is possible to get lost easily. You may be better at navigating than I am.
