Ate and slept well last night.

Steph and I started from the Four Season Chalet and skied through the entirety of Maasto Hiihto trail system. We kept the effort at a very easy to easy level. Grip was hard to come by in the beginning for both of us and glide was at premium after the first few kilometers for me.

Trails were very pretty and there was very little sign of human activity on most loops/segments. Sunshine, blue skies and warmth were nice but they also made the trails quite slow and at times, soupy. Skiing through shaded (skiddish) and sun-kissed (sluggish) regions felt icky and tricky as well. Stopped several times to change the grip setting (should have cleaned the skins before this outing - they were soggy and likely the cause of breaking sensation even on descents), shed the extra layers of clothing, take some photos and check the map at intersections.

Good conversations. Good and peaceful outing.
