this was a doozy, made it hurt on the way up and tried to keep up the speed on the way down. Futzed around at the top a bit after accidentally missing the turn coming down, it is always higher up than I expect it to be. Could have benefited from tightening the left shoe a few clicks, got a bit blistery. Overall a pretty good fitness check I think, though not exactly sure how to assess the speed. Everyone around here is too damn fast to get on the leaderboards lol. the GAP would be nice on this one.  7:58 pace up, 6:04 down. Started from the red rocks trail/sunshine junction. 

5 mile bike each way to/from Eben G. Fine and work.

Feeling ready for Fruita, I think!
