I guess I'll begin with the important stuff. Calf strain injury still here. Well technically I don't know what it is, but Dr Google informs me that the symptoms are mostly due to a calf strain/tear. The fact I can still walk on it reasonably comfortably tells me that it is on the mild side, but an injury is still an injury.

It is slowly, very slowly, improving but I'm still gonna have a physio appointment in 2 weeks for a more expert opinion. Until then, I'll be picking and choosing when and where I walk and carefully stretching to keep it mobile. I don't want to do too much, but I also think that not doing anything at all and just resting is not the answer either. 

I have been going for walks, and I decided to go for a walk today.

Its been a busy few days so I haven't been out as often as I wanted, but today I was able to finish work slightly earlier than normal and I figured I could walk home from work

After work I got the bus down to town, and then I walked the 5km home. It was quite nice actually in the sun, and I took my time as there is no need to rush lol. It also included a long walk up a hill, which I took slowly as there was a chance it could aggravate the calf injury. Once I got to the top of the hill I could feel my calf getting 'tight' but it didn't hurt in the same way it had a couple of weeks ago

I shall take it easy for the rest of the evening, and I'll be at home all day tomorrow, so there will more resting... and then I'll go out for a long-ish walk on Saturday (I'll probably play PokémonGO at the same time)
