Flagged of at 6pm with 350 more other cyclists. 

Super strong emotion. Jie was at the starting line to send off. The 1st 70km was practically a race with others. Everyone buzzing at high speed. Rode closely with Lee.

Settled into a nice pace of 27km/h after and when the sun sets, we put on our yellow reflective vest and turned on the rear red light. Amazing view of trails of light moving slowly ahead into darkness.

1km before the control, I stopped by at a Kebab shop for a takeaway dinner. And had dinner at Montagne with Lee.
