After being an extremely active person, my back was seriously injured 12 years ago in a work-related accident -- bringing my activity level to a screeching halt. This injury has resulted in having my back rebuilt three times. When you factor in Psoriatic Arthritis (a derivative of RA), Ankylosing Spondylitis, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, Degenerative Disc Disease, and three recent heart surgeries (including a heart implant), activity becomes significantly more challenging -- but NEVER impossible. Quitting is not in my nature.
