Up North Gravel - Sunday

Following in the tradition of recent years August's monthly ride will be "Up North"! Join us from 11-12 August for a weekend of riding in the breath-taking Peak District, staying in the beautiful spa town of Buxton.

Buxton is less than a 3.5 hour drive from Surrey, and 2.45 hours from London by train, so we will comfortably fit in a 3 hour ride on Saturday afternoon and 4/5 hour ride on Sunday morning. HotChillee Founder Sven Thiele (a.k.a Mr Gravel) will be joining us, so needless to say we have introduced a gravel route option this year!

There are a couple of options for Sunday’s gravel ride, depending on the weather, trail conditions and the group’s ability. One is to take in a section of the Pennine Bridleway, heading into the limestone dales of the White Peak. The other is to head for the “mountain biking mecca” of the Hope Valley to see just what gravel bikes are capable of!
