Meet Up Spot Al Hayes ŠKODA, Ennis
Casual (No-Drop) / Mostly Flat

The 150km route starts in Ennis before heading in the westerly direction along the Shannon Estuary and towards Labasheeda, Knock and Killimer. After Kildysert cyclists will cycle along side the waters of Ireland’s largest estuary for the next 40km before the first first feed stop in Kilrush. After leaving Kilrush the route heads deep into the award winning tourism destination of the Loop Head Peninsula.

At Carrigaholt the 150km cyclists will head towards one of Clare’s hidden gems and the cliffs of Dunlicky and the Bridges of Ross, (A Wild Atlantic Way Signature point!). You can feel the spray of the Atlantic from here. We pass by the seaside town of Kilkee before the next feed station in Doonbeg. Then onto Quilty before the turn into Mid Clare and the final leg home to Clare. Cyclists will now tackle The Hand – the rewards for climbing one of the local landmarks are spectacular views over climb. All downhill from here on the home stretch to Ennis and a big Clare welcome for all finishers.
