Training Ride

Pierre "The Beast" Verroye and Pete "Pickles" Hinz will lead the charge on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the month!! Unless otherwise noted, the training tides will begin at White's Ferry on the C&O Canal. We will schedule at least one of the training rides for the Baltimore area, most likely on the NCR. Rides will be held in inclement weather unless extreme, to afford the opportunity to test bike, gear, and riding skills in all conditions. The length of the rides will increase as the months pass, with the goal of completing a 60 mile training ride to ensure riders are ready for the long distance each day. Rides will be "no-drop" which means that a ride leader or co-leader will make sure no rider is left behind.
