Summer Solstice Ride 2021

Looks like we're a GO for this ride on Sunday! Kest and I (at least) will be riding and Patty will drive SAG.

The forecast high for Oroville is 100°, but by getting an early start, we could get down there before it reaches 80° and be on our way back up to Bucks Lake before it gets too hot. The low temp in Quincy Sunday is forecast to be just under 60°, so we shouldn't freeze in the morning like we did last year.

By having SAG, we can bundle in the morning and shed clothing to her car as it warms up. We will also have all the food, water, and ice we need to stay nourished and hydrated all day.

Scrambled Legs group rides are unsupported events, we're just a group of friends who enjoy riding together. As this is not truly an organized event, there will be no ride leader, so everyone should download the route to their GPS device and be prepared to navigate it on their own.

Indicating that you're in on this event does not make you part of any type of organized event, but merely that you may also be riding this route on this day.

We will gladly share our SAG support with other riders who happen to be riding the same course on this day. If your group would like to do this ride, please consider providing and sharing additional SAG support.
