Super Hero Fun Run - VIRTUAL CHALLENGE

The super hero fun run was born from the belief that role models and mentors play a pivotal role in shaping the youth of today. As individuals, most of us have been lucky enough to have had someone to look up to for guidance and support during times of need, whether it be siblings, teachers, coaches, friends or partners.

Unfortunately there are disadvantaged youths in our society that do not have access to a positive role model and it is charities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters that are working to bridge this gap. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a charity with 100 years of history that is tackling the inequality and disadvantage experienced by our most vulnerable young people through quality, long-term mentoring programs.

Participating in this event will not only serve to acknowledge those we see as a positive role model and work to encourage a healthy lifestyle, but to also raise awareness for charities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters. Their amazing work not only affects the individuals and their families, but can also have a long lasting impact on entire communities.

What: Prefer to avoid large crowds and finding a parking spot at 7AM BUT STILL want to be actively involved in the excitement of the day, the 4K virtual run is for you. Complete the distance on your own and submit your time in order to receive your medal! (shipped directly to you)

When: Complete the distance any time between the 10th of April - 7th of May

Where: You choose your own running course whether it be a casual walk around your neighborhood or on a treadmill at the gym, YOU CHOOSE YOUR TIME AND PLACE!

Why: Support the charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters while raising awareness and celebrating everyday heroes in our lives.

Cost: $25 which includes medal and shipping. All profits from the event will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters

Submissions: Prove your distance and time by the 7th of May to claim your medal. The medals will be sent within 2 weeks after the approval of the submission
