The Kong Lakes Ultra short course follows a similar anti-clockwise loop as the long option, incorporating eight of the Lake District’s most iconic peaks.

This shorter course misses out Pillar, Scafell Pike and Blencathra making the route more achievable for a lot of people. Having said that, this is still an incredibly tough challenge and one that deserves to be treated with respect. This is the perfect course for those who aren't quite ready for the extent of the long course, but are experienced in the mountains, confident navigators, and wish to gain further experience.
