Who is Emils Liepins?
At age 27, Emils Liepins is getting his first go at the WorldTour with Trek-Segafredo. Racing for one of the top UCI Pro Continental teams Wallonie-Bruxelles, Emils proved his capabilities with numerous top-10 results over the 2019 season, including a stage win in Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali. Emils is a versatile rider with a fast-finishing kick; he can tackle everything from the gruelling Classics to stage races, providing support for the Classics and GC leaders to leading out the sprinters. He hails from Latvia and doubles the small Eastern European country’s presence in Trek-Segafredo alongside compatriot Toms Skujins.

Who is Toms Skujins?
Toms Skujins is an all-rounder with an aggressive race-style, which quickly notched him his first win in only his second race with Trek-Segafredo at the 2018 Mallorca Challenge. He is a savvy rider who is not afraid to take risks and dig deep in search of victory, but he is also a dedicated teammate when called upon and played an important part in Bauke Mollema's Il Lombardia victory. Toms only win in 2019 was a big one, claiming the Latvian National Championship title. Toms loves to engage with fans, and his amiable nature makes him a fan-favorite worldwide.
