Mad March Hare Sportive 2019

The iconic Mad March Hare returns for its 11th edition on Sunday 24th March 2019.

Starting off at the excellent Technology Park in Longbridge, you will soon be on quiet, rolling country roads through the scenic villages of Clent and Kinver, the Severn Valley and into the stunning Wyre Forest.

After 50km of rolling roads you'll be able to refuel on copious amounts of sweet and savoury food at the indoor feed station at Heightington and re-hydrate on energy drinks, tea and coffee.

You'll then enjoy the descent into Stourport and the the first bit of flat on the route. It won't last long though - at at Wychbold you'll start the ascent back towards Birmingham with a little kicker to get over the Licky hills which will feel like Alpe d'Huez on any overwintered legs.

The effort will be soon forgotten back at HQ though when you smash into the best bacon / veggie sandwich you've ever eaten and wash it down with a pint.
