WW/SOCG/ODC 10-Year Anniversary Bike Rides

>> I've had a couple of questions about the definition of 'Casual (No Drop)' - Strava only allows the event to be categorized as Casual, Tempo or Race Pace. In this case our use of the term 'Casual' means that you can ride the route at your own pace. We will have support and a broom wagon just in case.<<

Come and join us on one of two ”sportives” organised by Willingham Wheels Cycle Club in association with Swavesey & Over Cycling Group (SOCG), to celebrate a triple 10th anniversary – 10 years of Over Day Centre’s 5-pub challenge walk and both Willingham Wheels and SOCG as clubs established in 2009.

Choice of two rides :
1. Fully marked 50 Mile Challenge route through local villages, with back-up cycle repair and first-aid support. Minimum donation £20 per rider. Registration 8.00 to 9.00am, to start 9.10am.

2. 8.5 mile route along cycle-ways and busway, for family & casual riders. Minimum donation £10 per family (any size); £5 adult individual; £2 under-18. Registration 10.00 to 11.00am, to start 11.10am. Certificates and medals for all children completing the course.

Note: All under-18 riders must wear a helmet and be accompanied by an adult.

Both rides start at Over Day Centre and end at The Green in Over, about 12 noon, for a lively social finish with rock band, refreshments, food and bar marquees.

All proceeds go to the Over Day Centre (ODC), an essential care and convivial charity providing vital support to the aged in our local area and beyond.
