Send It Saturday: Big Sur

Send It is returning up north for one of our most epic rides ever: Big Sur!

It'll likely be our slowest paced ride yet because of all the epic views to stop for, but you will have to handle strenuous climbs up the historic Old Coast Road.

We’ll be meeting at 8:45am at Andrew Molera State Park (45500 CA-1, Big Sur, CA 93920), rolling at 9am SHARP.

The route will cover roughly 20 miles with a couple of add-ons depending on State Park openings. Afterwards, we’ll return back to the Big Sur River Inn for lunch for those that want to stay.

- The first rule is that this is an unsupported ride and everyone rolls at their own risk.
- Make sure to bring your own tubes and a couple of water bottles. Two bottles should do the trick.
- Recommended tires are 40mm and above. There isn’t as much dirt on this edition compared to other Send Its, but be prepared.
- Highway 1 doesn’t have much of a shoulder if at all. Please be comfortable riding with vehicles passing.
