USA Triathlon officially recognizes the MWCTC as the governing body for the sport of triathlon at the collegiate level in the Midwestern United States. The conference is open to teams from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
