The A ride ( regular course ) – Drop Ride 18mph +
Neutral roll out with conversational pace for the first 6 miles. All abilities should be able to ride at 14-16mph to hang in this group for this initial section
The B ride ( short course )- 16-18mph
This ideally forms when riders attempting to ride at the A level gets “dropped” and then absorbed by the B group riding the same course until Poverty Hollow. Ideally the B group is lead and organized by a volunteer who’s role is organizing the group while maintaining a defined pace of 16-18mph. It should be in everyones best interest to stay assembled in this group unless of course some individuals want to try bridging back up to the A’s. However if anyone looses the pace of the A’s its foolish to think they could catch the A’s once you’ve been absorbed by the B’s. This shorter course will help link up the two groups later into the ride.
