You must qualify in order to ride this route during Levi's GranFondo. Qualifications are achieved by riding the Gran route in under 7 hours. Il Regno due to its extreme challenges is a route that we limit participation to those who have proven their capacity. Il Regno riders get special staging so they can make the tight cut-off times we have for completing the route. It takes in all of the beauty and challenge of the Gran route but adds another descent to the coast and back up to the ridgeline prior to reaching Ritchey Ranch. After reaching the coast, you'll climb up Kruze Ranch Road which is gravel and beautiful in ways we can't really write about. You just have to ride it.
