Beginning in Dublin, this thirty mile route takes riders around the Alviso Adobe Community Park. The first fifteen miles along Foothill Road are relatively flat, allowing for a proper warmup before the Palomares ascent. Turning right onto Palomares Road from Niles Canyon, the climbing begins. Surrounded by trees and rolling green hills, this nearly five mile climb is both scenic and enjoyable. The first mile is the steepest but after that, it's smooth sailing (for mountain goats). Following the Palomares climb, riders will savor the long descent before finishing the ride with a small climb up Dublin Canyon Road.
