Starts from the road end of the bridle path below the Cricket Club.
This short loop around the back of the playpark and back out via Abbey Crags Way is only used on lap 1.
The course then heads down Aspin Lane, Rievaulx Avenue, crosses Farfield Avenue and then Grimbald Road to the snicket.
After heading through the snicket you climb up cemetery hill all the way to King James's School where you pass along King James Road and back to the top of Aspin Lane.
Head down Aspin Lane past the Cricket Club to begin lap 2 - but this time missing out the playpark section.
The course finishes outside the Cricket Club gates on lap 2.
