This challenging 6.2km course takes in many of Western Sydney Parklands’ greatest sights with multiple starting points to choose from. Marvel at the fields of tall bluebells, that appear any time throughout the year after rain, and say hello to the inquisitive kangaroos and wallabies who may pass you by. The combination of sealed and unsealed pathways is suitable for walking and running.
GETTING THERE
You can start the Moonrise Loop Challenge at multiple locations. The best way to get there is by car with parking available at each starting point. Enter Lizard Log via Cowpasture Road and The Horsley Drive, or start at The Dairy via the Restwell Road entry. Join from Sugarloaf with street parking on Saxony Road in Abbotsbury. Residents can also walk, run or cycle into the Parklands.
