Skyrider Route The HH140 is a major new extension to the Haydon Hundred family of rides. It runs on beautiful smooth and traffic free roads crossing the 1st, 2nd, 5th & 6th highest roads in England - and then does the 3rd highest as well when it rejoins the HH100 route. From the Nenthead Feed Station the route turns right and up over Dowgang Hush, before following the Tees Valley over Yad Moss. It then turns left again to cross Langdon Fell, dropping down into the Wear Valley and then over Killhope Cross where there is an extra feed station for the intrepid riders. There will be a Strava King of the Mountains competition based on the route between Nenthead and Killhope Cross. This route is very high and exposed. In bad weather it can become hazardous very quickly and riders are advised to be well prepared for changing weather conditions.
